The Luhrs 30 Open is actually 31' 5" hull length (called the 31 Open in 2006). Her 11'-10" beam and wide prop pockets reduces the draft (2'-6") and makes the boat a very stable platform to fish from. She has four single bunks, head with shower, adequate galley, generator, and air conditioning. The twin Yanmar 315 HP diesels are economical to operate. She is completely fish rigged with a Marlin tower, double spreader outriggers, live well, multiple fish boxes, tackle storage, 15 rod holders, transom door, and an additional cooler/seat in the cockpit. The electronics feature Furuno NavNet MFD Chart Plotter, Radar, Fish Finder, and a Simrad auto pilot, with instruments and engine controls in the tower. There are many upgrades the last few years.
